Dr. Jonathan Fellus is a Glen Ridge, New Jersey-based neurologist and clinical researcher with an interest in the pharmacological treatment of pseudobulbar affect, rational polypharmacy, and neurorehabilitation after traumatic brain injury. He has published a dozen peer-reviewed articles on these and other topics and has served in various capacities on multiple neurological research projects. In addition to his research work, Dr. Jonathan Fellus provides fee-for-service treatment of conditions associated with acquired brain injury through Advanced NeuroCare, LLC.
Prior to opening Advanced NeuroCare in 2019, Dr. Fellus served five years as a neurodiagnostic and neurotherapeutic technician at CIIT Medical Center. He concurrently served as a research fellow at the Center for Neurologic Study. He has additional medical experience as director of rehabilitation at Meadowlands Hospital Medical Center and director of brain injury services at the Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation.
Jonathan Fellus, MD, also spent a combined nine years as a scientific advisor and chief medical officer with the International Brain Research Foundation. Moreover, he co-founded the Moulay Ali Institute for Rehabilitation in Marrakech, Morocco, in 2008. He obtained his MD and bachelor's in biology from Rutgers University, where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
